The Palace of the Parliament, located in the historic center of Bucharest, is one of the largest and most impressive administrative buildings in the world. Surrounded by the Izvor and Unirii parks, it offers multiple grand halls and modern conference facilities, suitable for large-scale international congresses. The venue is easily accessible from all parts of the city and within 30 minutes from Henri Coandă International Airport.
Access to the Palace of Parliament through Gate C1 (or Entrance C1) is the main entrance for conference participants.
The gate is located on the side of the building facing United Nations Boulevard and is accessible by crossing Izvor Park.

EMC Credit
The event is acredited by the Romanian College of Physicians with 18 EMC credits.
Workshops are in course of accreditation
Participants will receive a certificate of participation approved by the Romanian College of Physicians and EMC credits.
According to decision 12/2018 of the CMR, which entered into force on August 21, 2018, only CMR member physicians who have concluded a contract with the Romanian College of Physicians for the year 2024 receive certificates of participation with EMC points. The personal data sent to the Romanian College of Physicians for the validation of credits is mandatory. This data includes the name and surname, medical specialty, professional degree, place of work, locality, and CUIM (Unique Physician Identification Code issued by the Romanian College of Physicians, consisting of 10 digits from the medical license - not to be confused with the CNP or initial code). All other categories of participants receive only the certificate of participation without credits. We want to inform resident physicians in the second specialty who register for the congress that they can benefit from EMC points only if they are registered for the congress as a specialist physician in the first specialty.
Official language
English is the official language of the event. No simultaneous translations will be provided.
Badges
You will not be permitted to enter the event area without your badges.
Liability and Insurance
The event organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of property belonging to participants (or their accompanying persons), either during, or because of the event. Delegates and their accompanying guests are strongly advised to purchase adequate travel insurance for the duration of their travel, the event area and tours.

Henri Coandă International Airport (previously known as Bucharest Otopeni International Airport), is located 17km north-west of Bucharest, it is the primary international airport of Romania and is serving all major international airlines.
The distance to the conference hall is 15 minutes by car and 45 minutes by public transport.
by car
Bucharest is connected to multiple National and European highways and its fairly easy to navigate your way to the city by car.
If you take in consideration this option, you need to buy an electronic toll vignette which is required on all highways and national roads.
Public transport in Bucharest
Bucharest's public transport system is the largest in Romania. The Romanian capital is served by a modern underground system, a vast bus network,trolleybuses and trams. In addition, there is also a private minibus system.
Taxis, Uber and Bolt - are inexpensive compared to other European capitals.
All the metro and other public transport stops in Bucharest are marked on Google Maps and have live departure information. You can also download a very good mobile app called ‘Info Transport Bucharest’ which not only has all live departure info, it also has a journey planner. You can simply enter where you want to go and it gives you the best options with live time schedules.

The organizing Secretariat is not responsible for obtaining visas and does not provide financial support letters but, in order to assist with obtaining an entry visa it can provide a confirmation of your registration to the congress, on request.
